Starting a commission

Commissioning a custom black smithed project can be a one-of-a-kind experience that allows you to express your creativity and personality in a tangible way. While there may be some nerves involved, the end result can be incredibly rewarding and something you can cherish for years to come.

We will work hard to make the process easy and transparent throughout.

  1. Share your idea

The first step is to define the project you want to commission. This may involve chatting through an idea, sketching out your idea or you might be able to provide detailed specifications. Be sure to share your desired budget and timeline as well at this stage.

  2. Receive a Quote

Once we have discussed your project enough to be able create enough details we will provide you with a quote for the project. This will include the cost of materials, labour, and any additional fees.

  3. Agree to the Terms

If you are happy with the quote, you will be asked to agree to the terms of the project. This will include the price, timeline, and any other details such as warranties or guarantees.
